1. Emergency and Crisis Procedures: I do not provide 24-hour crisis coverage. In the event of a psychiatric emergency, life-threatening situation, or if you are in immediate danger to yourself or others, please take one of the following actions immediately:

• Call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

• Call 911 or your local emergency services.

• Proceed to the nearest hospital emergency department.

• Do not use email or voicemail for emergency situations, as these are not monitored 24/7.

2. Insurance Information: I operate as an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance companies directly. However, I want to make sure you can still utilize your benefits; I’ll provide you with a Superbill after each session. You can submit this to your insurance to seek out-of-network reimbursement.

3. Confidentiality and Privacy: While your treatment is strictly confidential under HIPAA and state law, please note:

• Electronic Communication: Standard email and text messaging are not guaranteed to be secure. By choosing to communicate via these methods, you acknowledge the risk to your privacy. 

• Educational/Website Content: Any clinical examples or testimonials/reviews shared in this website, professional memoirs, guides, or educational materials authored by me are fictionalized composites designed to protect patient identity and ensure complete HIPAA compliance.

5. Appointments and Cancellations: Consistency is vital to the therapeutic process. Please provide at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations to avoid a late-cancellation fee. This allows me to offer the time slot to other patients in need of care.
